Meet Carly Wilson

Carly is a twenty-seven-year-old passionate artist who recently moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue her career in acting. While navigating the many trials and tribulations that come with the art form, she found herself frustrated and starved of a creative outlet. That’s when she rediscovered her love for writing.

Using her imagination without ever leaving the cozy corner of her office chair? Say less.

For the first time in years, she sat down and put pen to paper, with nothing but a cinematic vision to guide her. The proof of that passion is in the pages. She credits her acting abilities for her writing style, which leans heavily on imagery, metaphors, and authentic characters.

Most of Carly’s career centers around waiting to hear yes. Waiting to land the role. But with writing, she didn’t have to wait.

She just got to create.

She is grateful that inspiration struck when it did, and for the new creative endeavor in which she can express the imaginative side of herself that itches to breach the surface more often.

As a kid who often lost herself in books, she hopes to continue creating worlds in which readers of all genres can do the same. Stories demand to be told, and Carly plans to be a vessel for them.
